I struggled with my thoughts for this review. I've been to Jewboy Burgers twice now and have yet to be let down! It's just that chill place you go to when you are craving a burger and maybe a beer, but you don't want to get all dressed and go somewhere fancy. I'll be honest when I say that the Burgers won't blow you away, but the relaxed environment and amazing customer service will bring you back for multiple visits! There's some cool art on the walls, tv on for some casual viewing, and a few different seating options! Definitely looking forward to my next Jewboy burger!

The burger was good, the original potato latke was great, but the green chile cheese latke was the star! I heard about Jewboy from my roommate who said it was one of the best burgers he'd ever had so of course I have to investigate!! My experience: * I arrived around 1:05pm on a Saturday and from standing in line to getting food was about 25 minutes of wait time with a majority of that being in line. * The atmosphere was very fun with a classic rock/ wrestling feel including multiple signs you can read giving explanations of the restaurant's origins. * I definitely want to come back with friends! The Food: * Original Jewboy Burger... a far cry from the best burger I've had but looking back, I think expectations were set too high. This is your classic burger and was great on its own with a mustard and pickles focus in the center that had a great crust on the meat. HIGHLY recommend getting their spicy ketchup to add as I felt it elevated the burger quite a bit. * One of each Potato Latkes... get the green chili one. Just trust me. The original was good with a nice crisp on the outside and smooth/creamy-ish interior that made for a great experience but I felt needed more salt. The green chili on was superb though. The green chile brought in a subtle spice and was wonderfully salted and crisp on the outside. I will come back specifically for this one. Overall: * Great place to eat and highly recommend for a group though be prepared to wait and be vigilant on your quest for a table to sit at. * I would recommend going with one of the other burger choices and the green chili potato latke. Hope this helps!

I thought Jewboy burgers was very good. I thought the atmosphere was fantastic, fair prices & the woman at the counter was super friendly. Why not 5 stars? I don't know - maybe expecations were too high and I wasn't wow'd as much as I should. I am a huge fan of Jewboy subs and was so excited to come here. Like I said, I wasn't wow'd - maybe it's because my burger was more like mustard soup with beef and bread in it. I've never seen so much mustard anywhere in my life. Despite that, the burger was very good, but I don't know if I'd say it was great and it's a must see for when my friends and family come in town. I think I am more excited to take them to JewBoy subs - don't get me wrong, I will absolutely return and would bring fam here, but it's just not a priority. I really loved the tater tots and the special sauces - similar to Jewboy Subs, I am a huge fan of Senior Jewboy's culinary skills and flavor palates

Best burger I've ever had? No. But one of the best I've found in Austin? Yes. Have come a few times and have always been very pleased with the quick and friendly service and yummy food. Burgers are a bit on the pricey side, but on par with other burger shops I've tried in Austin, but with pretty generous portions and good quality. On my most recent visit I brought my sister before dropping her off at the airport and she needs gluten free and they had gluten free buns available! Definitely give them a try if you are looking for a good burger in the area.

My husband and I decided to try this burger place for dinner, and it exceeded our expectations! He easily placed the order online, and we picked it up from the convenient parking lot behind the building. Though I didn't go inside, I noticed they have a charming outdoor seating area. I ordered The Jewboy burger, a beef and cheese delight with chopped lettuce, pickles, and mustard on a soft potato roll. I opted to have it without cheese. The burger was delicious--the bun was perfectly soft, the meat was flavorful, and the pickles and shredded lettuce added a nice crunch. As sides, I had the onion rings and tried the green chili and cheese potato latkes for the first time. The onion rings were fluffy and soft, just the way I like them. The potato latkes were tasty and unique, like giant tater tots with a hint of green chili and cheese. Overall, it was a fantastic meal, a bit on the pricier side, but well worth it for the quality. We'll definitely be returning!

Haven't been to Austin in quite awhile, so much food options nowadays! A friend recommended us to try this place out and...it was excellent!! Parking lot is small in the back, probably will have to find street parking if you don't get lucky...not a far walk though. You'll probably also encounter a line, but it moves and service is quick for this fast casual burger joint. The restaurant is fully decorated in nostalgic posters , very throwback and a kick to admire. As far as seats go, they have indoor and outdoor areas. Now on to the food... I got the original jewboy - smashed burger. Juicy burger with excellent fluffy bread. The fries were very crispy and tasteful. I came away very impressed with the quality at the price point. I definitely would visit again!

I've been on a real burger kick lately so when visiting my son he said we had to come here. I'm glad we did. It's a busy place so be prepared for a line, but it moves fast! They don't rush you as you order and make suggestions. They want to ensure you are satisfied. I got the Oy Vey burger because hello...it had a latke on it. Heavenly. Great outside seating. Bring your pup!

An absolutely AMAZING burger. I got the Yenta which was topped with a latke. The burger was smashed into onions and the latke was so crunchy and savory! The potato bun was the perfect vehicle to handle this massive burger. Others in my group loved their choices as well. Shoutout to the malt milkshakes, which are the best medium to coat your fries! Also the decor was so cool! Don't miss out on this spot! And come hungry!!

An interesting stop for lunch! One thing is for sure they do burgers well! I had the Goyim - a truly tasty burger! This one was a JewBoy Burger topped with House made Pastrami, Swiss cheese, bacon, pickled & mustard! Who can say no to that?! The fries were perfection, fried to a crispy outside and a soft pillowy center. Most excellent! We order 1/2 & 1/2 which were half Fries, half Tots! There were 6 in our group and it was hard for us to finish 3 baskets! If I lived here I would definitely go back and try more of their burger options. If you're local and don't know about this place go check it out!

The hype is real! Jewboy Burgers is one of our favorite spots we visited in Austin and one of the best burgers we've had...EVER! We originally tried them out since they were close to our hotel, but these burgers have easily become a staple stop for us now if and when we find ourselves in Austin again. Service was friendly and efficient. The establishment was clean and welcoming. Definitely a memorable first visit. Jewboy Burgers offers amazing burgers and more. It is a quick service type of spot where diners can enjoy inside or outside seating. We came in on a weekday at lunch and they were pretty busy. I can only imagine how slammed they can get during popular days and times of the day for meals. Our order consisted of: - The Oy Vay Guey with fries - Love Stinks (specialty item) with tots The burgers were cooked to perfection. The flavors were on point. My burger was the specialty one at the time, Love Stinks. It was a burger on a Kaiser Roll and had an Onion and Garlic Latke, Sautéed Onion Strings, Red Wine reduction mayo, and melted Gruyere cheese. Honestly, it reminded me of French onion soup but in a burger format. It was divine. My husband's Oy Vay Guey was also perfection. He described it as the best burger he's ever had. To say we were happy with our meal is an understatement. If you're reading this review and trying to decide whether Jewboy Burgers is the right spot for your next meal, the answer is yes. They made a strong first impression for us and we're looking forward to stopping in to try more the next time we're in town.
